L\u2019objectif de cette communication est d\u2019approfondir la compr\u00e9hension de l\u2019appropriation d\u2019un dispositif de r\u00e9alit\u00e9 virtuelle par des chercheurs en arch\u00e9ologie. L\u2019observation film\u00e9e de deux sessions de tests aupr\u00e8s de huit chercheurs conforte la litt\u00e9rature sur l\u2019appropriation des technologies et met en exergue deux r\u00e9sultats plus novateurs : l\u2019importance du v\u00e9cu du chercheur dans l\u2019appropriation de l\u2019outil et le r\u00f4le des frictions comme d\u00e9clencheur de l\u2019appropriation.
